Meet some of our mentors

Here at Vision Health Pioneers we have more than 50 mentors, all with expertise in a wide range of areas. All of our teams get access to the mentors and are able to gain their insights at all stages of development. Of course this list is not the full range but is simply an example of the sort of scope we at Vision Health Pioneers are able to provide to our teams. This is our second post simply showing off the expertise we have at our disposal.

Thanos Rammos

Thanos Rammos has worked as a lawyer for Taylor Wessing since 2011. He has an excellent track record in dealing with the legal aspects of copyright, competition, publishing, youth protection law, as well as on IT contract law. His special focus is on issues of data protection legislation. He advises especially with a focus on health tech companies in the life sciences and healthcare sector.

Sven Jungmann

Sven Jungmann is a formerly practicing medical doctor, now co-founder of FoundersLane’s Health practice and sits on the advisory board of spring, a telemedicine company. FoundersLane builds new start-ups in highly regulated industries together with established corporates.

Lina Behrens

Lina Behrens is the Managing Director at Flying Health – an ecosystem that helps industry leaders and startups navigate the healthcare system of tomorrow. Previously, Lina worked with payers, providers, pharma and CROs at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) London and Social Finance UK and built successful businesses at Polymath Ventures. 

Jovan Stevovic

Jovan Stevovic is the co-founder and CEO of Chino.io, a platform that makes health applications GDPR and HIPAA compliant “out of the box”. Jovan has over a decade of experience in the health IT industry. He completed his PhD at the University of Trento in 2014.

Ingo Schneider

Ingo Schneider works as a venture lawyer and is co-founder of Icadia Legal, a law firm located in Berlin with focus on tech companies. He is an active angel investor and mentor (e.g. at Technical University Berlin). He studied business and law and obtained his PhD from Freie Universität Berlin where he worked as research assistant at the Institute of Economics, Competition & Energy law.

Akira-Sebastian Pencette

Akira-Sebastian Pencette’s work is focused on using digital health to enhance patient safety and the value-based outcome for patients on intensive care units and perioperative care. He is a researcher in the multidisciplinary group on “Data Science in Perioperative Care”, that aims to enhance clinical utilization of this data stream to improve patient safety and the quality of healthcare delivery. Akira is also Resident Physician at the Department of Anaesthesiology and operative Intensive Care.

Videesha Boeckle

Videesha Boeckle has over a decade of experience in the areas of venture capital, corporate innovation and sales. She has backed companies in the B2B space such as: Automation Hero, and Clarisights Inc. and worked with B2C companies such as GetYourGuide. She has worked with a number of corporate LPs over the years at Redstone Digital and Signals Venture Capital in launching and growing investment vehicles with innovative business models in the venture capital industry.
