Akira’s work is focused on using digital health to enhance patient safety and the value-based outcome for patients on intensive care units and perioperative care. He is a researcher in the multidisciplinary group on “Data Science in Perioperative Care”, that aims to enhance clinical utilization of this data stream to improve patient safety and the quality of healthcare delivery. Akira is also Resident Physician at the Department of Anaesthesiology and operative Intensive Care.
